Maverick Musings

Name:
Location: Liverpool, Merseyside, United Kingdom

It's difficult for me to pigeon-hole myself. Anyone involved in marketing or demographics would find that I've slipped through the net. I'm a maverick. I remain a philosophical marxist (note the adjective), although I'm the first to say that capitalism won that titanic war when the Berlin Wall came down. I have a very low threshold for bullshit, can be sarcastic & generally assume the worst in people (that way, anything else is a bonus).

Easy Or Difficult?

In the space of 24 hours I've been both seduced by the ease of blogging, & exasperated by the difficulty of logging in (passwords rejected to the point where I was starting to wonder if it was all worth it).
Anyway, I'm back (I hope!).
More posts soon(ish).

In The Beginning...(Not Born Again!)

Never start with a boring intro, I was told by my English teacher. Always try to grab their attention with a snappy start & they're yours. Wise words.
I'm not entirely sure what preoccupations will fuel the (hopefully) frequent online jottings here. What I do know is that it won't be a blog devoted to one particular passion/hobby. My life & interests are too diffuse & eclectic for that.
At the outlet, I should make it clear that if you're hoping for a right-wing, Dubya-backing, bigoted blog which delights in racist, sexist & homophobic "humour", look elsewhere; the blogosphere is a very big place, your dark hole is somewhere out there.
(So that's my first posting.......feels strange, yet fascinating.)
